Traveling is essential to my life. It broadens my horizons, fosters foresight, and challenges my personality to grow. Long-term, slow travel opens up insights into how people think and live. Learning the principles of their language often leads straight to their hearts – the beating heart of a country. The feeling of home had changed; it could have been Kathmandu just as well as Graz in Austria. It was a risk of losing my roots – but also a chance to become a cosmopolitan.
